PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town of Ancram Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 1st, 2024 at 7:05 p.m or shortly thereafter.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the public hearing will be a hybrid public hearing accessible both in-person and via Zoom. The public hearing will take place at the aforementioned date and time: (1) at an in-person meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held at the Ancram Town Hall, located at 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, New York 12502; and (2) at the same date and time via Zoom. (Zoom access information below). Verbal comments may be offered to the Zoning Board of Appeals by the public via the Zoom access.

 

Under consideration is the application for an Area Variance of 69.3 feet from the 150’ Stream Buffer and Streamside Vegetative Buffers for an accessory pool on parcel ID #198.-1-9.200owned by Sinan Kazaklar and Tristan VanDeventer, the parcel is located at 28 Under Mountain Rd, Copake, NY 12516.

Public Notice- Deputy Planning and Zoning ClerkThe Town of Ancram is seeking a deputy Planning and Zoning Board clerk. The job description can be found on the NYS civil service website, which can be accessed at www.cs.ny.gov. Hourly compensation will be set by the Town Supervisor and department heads. Public Notice – Deputy CEO/ZEO – The Town of Ancram is seeking applicants for the position of part time Deputy Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Enforcement Officer. The position will pay between $20 and $25 per hour depending on the applicant’s experience for 10 to 15 hours per week.  A background in construction or building trades or prior experience in code and zoning enforcement a plus. If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to Ancram Supervisor James MacArthur at jmackancramhighway@gmail.com

Public Notice- Cleaning Person Needed– The Town of Ancram is seeking applicants for the position of Cleaning Person for the Town Hall building.
