01/06/2021: A Message from Ancram Judges Redlich and Wittlinger:
The Ancram Town Court is now closed to the public due to Covid. All in-person court appearances are adjourned until further notice, unless you receive specific notification otherwise from the Court. Once the Court reopens, you will receive a new court date via mail.
If you have received a traffic ticket, please indicate your plea on the ticket where indicated and MAIL it back to us by the return date indicated near the bottom left side of your ticket. This date is NOT a court date.
If you have entered a GUILTY plea, you will be notified by mail of the fine set by the Court.
If you have entered a NOT GUILTY plea, you may use the following link to initiate PLEA NEGOTIATIONS with the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office by mail:
