Covid-19 test kits available @ Town Hall while supplies last

Ancram just received 89 more COVID-19 test kits from the County, so Ancram Residents can get free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 test kits at Ancram Town Hall

while supplies last

Wednesday & Thursday 10 am – 2 pm

Saturday 9:30 am -12 noon

And everyone can get free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 test kits in the mail

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days. Order your tests now so you have them when you need them.

Need help placing an order for your at-⁠home tests?

Call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489).

Four tests per family will be mailed to you.

If you’re experiencing symptoms or think you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, contact your health care provider or your state or local public health department to find out where you can get tested.

Tests are available at many health centers and some pharmacies.

Call in advance to see if an appointment is required.

Bids will be accepted at the office of the Highway Superintendent, 32 Maple Lane, Ancramdale NY 12503 until 3:30 December 14, 2021. Bids will be opened at the office of the Town Clerk, 1416 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502, at 11am on December 15, 2021. Bids will be approved or rejected at the Ancram Town Board Meeting December 16, 2021 at 7pm.
Bids will be effective for one year starting January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. All bids must be accompanied with a letter of non collusion.

Town of Ancram Job Opportunity

Town of Ancram Job Opportunity –  The Town of Ancram is looking for a part time Deputy Clerk for the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) Clerk. Prior Planning Board or ZBA clerking experience a plus but not essential. Compensation will be between $18 and $19 per hour depending on your  experience. ANCRAM HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT JOB POSTING

The Town of Ancram Highway Department will be accepting applications for the position of Part Time CDL Class B driver. Duties will include delivering materials including gravel and blacktop to job sites on an “as needed basis”. Minimum CDL Class B drivers license required. Applications may be picked up at the office of the Highway Superintendent at 32 Maple Lane, Ancramdale, NY 12503 between the hours of 7 am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Applications will be accepted until 4/16/2021 at 3:30 pm at 32 Maple Lane, Ancramdale, NY 12503. The Town Of Ancram is an equal opportunity employer.

Bids will be opened at the Town Clerks office, 1416 Couty Route 7 Ancram NY 12502, at 11am on January 6, 2021. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Ancram Town Hall is closed to the public. If you wish to attend the bid openings, please contact the Highway Superintendent at 518-329-0962 to make an appointment. All safety precautions will need to be adhered to including masks, temperature check and health screening questions. Bids will be approved or rejected at the Ancram Town Board Organization meeting via Zoom on January 7, 2021 at 7pm.
