NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
Ancram Fire District in the Town of Ancram
Columbia County New York

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Section 175 of the Town Law, and other applicable statutes, an annual election of the Ancram Fire District will be held on the 10th day of December, 2024, at the firehouse located at 1306 County Route 7, Ancram NY between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00 pm for the purpose of electing the following:

ONE FIRE COMMISSIONER for the term of five (5) years commencing on January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2029; and

Each registered elector of the Town of Ancram who shall have resided in the Ancram Fire District for a period of thirty days preceding the election shall be qualified to vote at the election.

NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
Candidates must file their names with the Fire District Secretary, Thomas Dias, on or before November 20, 2024. A candidate must be a resident elector of the Ancram Fire District and a registered voter in the Town of Ancram.

2. The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a workshop meeting Thursday November 14, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Ancram Town Hall 1416 County 7 Ancram, NY 12502.
3. The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a public hearing on Local Law #1 of 2024: Revised Noise Ordinance, on Thursday November 14, 2024 at 6:30pm at the Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502
4. The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a public hearing on the Final 2025 Town of Ancram Budget on Thursday November 14, 2024 at 6:45pm at the Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502

TOWN OF ANCRAM PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town of Ancram Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 7:05 p.m or shortly thereafter.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the public hearing will be a hybrid public hearing accessible both in-person and via Zoom. The public hearing will take place at the aforementioned date and time: (1) at an in-person meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held at the Ancram Town Hall, located at 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, New York 12502; and (2) at the same date and time via Zoom. (Zoom access information below). Verbal comments may be offered to the Zoning Board of Appeals by the public via the Zoom access.

Under consideration is an application for Subdivision and Abbreviated Site Plan Review on parcel ID #221.-1-21, owned by Faye Robinson Auld, the parcel is located at 238 Crest Lane, Ancramdale, NY 12503. The Applicant seeks a subdivision creating two (2) lots and Abbreviated Site Plan Review for a proposed Single Family Residence.
