Bidders are encouraged to evaluate the current insurance programs and levels of coverage in place and recommend modifications if they believe such modifications would be in the best interest of the Town. The Ancram Town Board seeking applicants for alternate on Board of Assessment Review (BAR)
The Ancram Town Board is seeking applicants to serve as an alternate on the Town’s 5 member Board of Assessment Review (BAR). An alternate member of the The Board of Assessment Review will attend the annual BAR meeting and will take the place of a regular member if a regular member is not able to participate in the annual BAR meeting held in May to hear real property assessment complaints (grievances) and arrive at fair and impartial determinations regarding those complaints. Newly appointed and reappointed alternate BAR members are required to attend training, offered each spring, prior to the annual BAR meeting.
