JOB OPPORTUNITY, TOWN OF ANCRAM HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

The Town of Ancram is accepting applications for a full time Motor Equipment Operator.

Applicant must possess a valid NYS Class A of B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and pass a pre-employment drug test. The job will include the operation of machinery and physical tasks in connection with maintaining town owned equipment and properties.

Town of Ancram – Request for Bids – The Town of Ancram will be accepting bids for the following: One new 2022 or newer panel cargo van with two passenger front seats, no rear seats, side sliding door, double rear center opening doors with upper rear windows, 4 x 2 wheel drive, 144.0 wheel base, regular fuel, 11,300 gross weight, with cargo area no less than 220.5 square feet.  Van must be delivered by December 31,  2022. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Office of the Ancram Town Clerk at 1416 Route 7, Ancram, NY 12503 at 10 am on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.   All bids must be accompanied by a letter of non-collusion.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions any attendees at the bid opening must wear masks and maintain social distancing. Bids will be accepted or rejected at the Ancram Town Board Meeting at 1416 County Route 7, Ancram, NY 12502 at 7pm, Friday, May 19, 2022. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Town of Ancram Planning Board will hold a workshop meeting on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m..

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, the workshop meeting will be a hybrid meeting accessible both in-person and via Zoom.
