Town of Ancram Public Hearing on Local Law #6 of 2023 (Zoning Amendments) – The Ancram Town Board will hold a public hearing on proposed Local Law #6 of 2023 (Zoning Amendments) at 6:30 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 CR 7, Ancram NY 12502. Background materials related to Local Law #6 of 2023 and a draft copy of Local Law #6 of 2023 will be available from the Ancram Town Clerk, will be posted on the Town website at www.ancramny.org and will be available in the Town Hall conference room.

Notice is Hereby Given the October 2023, meeting of the “Ancram Fire District Commissioners” of the Town of Ancram NY, will be held on October 17, 2023, at the following location,  The Ancram Fire Company Commissioners office, 1306 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502.The meeting will start at 7 PM.

Also Notice is Hereby Given the Ancram Fire District Commissioners will be conducting the 2024 Ancram Fire District Budget Hearing at the Commissioners Office, Ancram Fire House, 1306 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502, at 6:30 PM on October 17, 2023.

2024 Preliminary Budget Public Hearing – The Ancram Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2024 Preliminary Budget at 6:55 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 CR 7, Ancram NY 12502.  Proposed 2024 salaries for elected Town Officials are budgeted to increase by on average 3.3% to the following amounts: Town Board members $3305; Town Supervisor $5675; Town Justices: $6325; Town Clerk: $36,775; Town Highway Superintendent: $69,500. The 2024 Preliminary Budget will be available from the Ancram Town Clerk, will be posted on the Town website at www.ancramny.org and will be circulated to the Ancramemail list.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town of Ancram Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

Under consideration by the Zoning Board of Appeals are two Area Variance applications in the Town of Ancram bearing the Tax Parcel IDs: 196.-1-5.112 and 196.-1-48. The parcel is owned by Dawning Farm LLC. The parcel is located at 1095 County Route 27A Ancram, NY, 12502.

 

The Applicant seeks an area variance of 95 feet from the 150 foot buffer from all streams in Article V (A) (3) (c) (1) in the Town of Ancram Zoning Law. The Applicant seeks to construct a driveway within the buffer.
