Attention Property Owner:
A decision was made by the Ancram Town Board to conduct a 2023 reassessment of all real property in the Town of Ancram in order to create fair and equitable assessments at 100% of market value. The reassessment will be conducted in accordance with Sections 301 and 305 of the NYS Real Property Tax Law. Data Collectors for Columbia County Real Property will begin field work in a couple of weeks by visiting each property in Ancram to update and photograph inventory. In some cases, this can be done from the public right of way. In other cases, it will be necessary for them to knock on the door before taking new measurements or accessing the rear of a property. Please note that visits by appointment are not possible.
Any questions should be directed to the Ancram Assessors at 518-329-6512 Ext 204 or ancramassessor@gmail.com
