Two positions are available on the Zoning Board of Appeals – one being a full time member and one an alternate.
We are also seeking a member to take over the ZBA Chair position. The ZBA meets only as needed, usually 3 or 4 times a year. The ZBA is comprised of 5 members who serve a 5 year term appointed by the Town Board. The primary function of the ZBA is to hear appeals on building applications that do not meet the Zoning Code in some way. An alternate member can be designated to substitute for an absent member.
