Please take notice that the Town of Ancram Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Friday, November, 2nd, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1416 County Route 7. Under consideration is an application for an Area Variance to build a Pole Barn for hay storage by Donald Duksa located (Parcel ID # 197.-1-2.12) at 1030 County Route 27A in the Town of Ancram. All persons wishing to comment on the application will have an opportunity to do so. Any person with comments concerning the application may contact the clerk, John Hoffman, by phone (329-6512 ext. 205), email (zoningboard@ancramny.org), or in person (Wednesday and Saturday 10AM-2PM Ancram Town Hall).

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on Budget Notice is hereby given, that the Proposed Budget of the Ancram Fire District of the Town of Ancram, New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Ancram Fire District, for its consideration. A Public Hearing will be held at 6:30pm at the Commissioners Office, Ancram Fire House, 1306 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502 on October 20, 2026 (the Budget Hearing must be held annually on the third Tuesday in October.) Pursuant to Town Law 181.3 (a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning the same. That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7, Ancram, NY 12502 and Fire District secretary at the Ancram Fire House 1306 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502, where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours.
