The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a public hearing on Local Law #1 of 2026: A Local Law Establishing Income Levels for Disabled and Low Income Citizens Real Property Tax Exemption, on September 17, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 County Route 7 Ancram NY 12502. Copies of the proposed law can be found on the town website: www.ancramny.org or at the Town Hall during business hours.

The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a public hearing on Local Law #2 of 2026: A Local Law Establishing Income Levels for Senior Citizen Real Property Tax Exemption, on September 17, 2026 at 6:15 pm at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 County Route 7 Ancram NY 12502. Copies of the proposed law can be found on the town website: www.ancramny.org or at the Town Hall during regular business hours.

The Town Board of the Town of Ancram will hold a public hearing on the Tentative 2027 Town of Ancram Budget on September 17, 2026 at 6:30 at the Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on Budget Notice is hereby given, that the Proposed Budget of the Ancram Fire District of the Town of Ancram, New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Ancram Fire District, for its consideration. A Public Hearing will be held at 6:30pm at the Commissioners Office, Ancram Fire House, 1306 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502 on October 20, 2026 (the Budget Hearing must be held annually on the third Tuesday in October.) Pursuant to Town Law 181.3 (a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning the same. That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7, Ancram, NY 12502 and Fire District secretary at the Ancram Fire House 1306 County Route 7 Ancram, NY 12502, where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours.
