TOWN OF ANCRAM ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Town of Ancram Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 7:05PM or shortly thereafter.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, the public hearing will be a hybrid public hearing accessible both in-person and via Zoom. The public hearing will take place at the aforementioned date and time: (1) at an in-person meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held at the Ancram Town Hall, located at 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, New York 12502; and (2) at the same date and time via Zoom. (Zoom access information below). Verbal comments may be offered to the Zoning Board of Appeals by the public via the Zoom access.
Under consideration is the application for an Area Variance of 12.7’ feet in the front yard; an Area Variance of 3’ for the side yard; and a variance of 118.8’ feet from the 150’ wetland and waterbody setback. The parcel contains an existing, nonconforming building in an existing undersize lot within the Lower Rhoda District. The Applicant plans to remove the existing residence and rebuild a residential structure on parcel ID #197.3-1-36. Owned by Christy Wilson, the parcel is located at 5 Lake Shore Drive, Ancramdale, NY 12503.
