Notice from Jim Miller Highway Dept. re: paving Long Lake Road & Lake Shore Drive extension Wed. Sept 11:
They will be starting on the end of Lake Shore and working out towards the loop. Anyone needing to exit lake shore dr before 9 am should plan on doing so before 7am as egress won’t be possible until they reach the loop.
After they reach the loop traffic will be able to go one way or the other depending where the equipment is.
The only delays will be until the roller completes compaction. After that it can be driven on.
