Town of Ancram Summer Reading Program 2018
The Ancram Town Clerk is excited to announce a new SUMMER READING PROGRAM for the children of the Town of Ancram
Please find attached two Summer Reading Bingo Cards, one for younger readers and one for older readers. You choose which one suits your child. Print it out and begin the fun. As your child completes a square, mark it off. Try and see if they can fill the entire card. (They do not have to fill the card to participate. Any card with any 5 spots completed will be accepted.)
The second part of the program, if you wish to participate, is a log of minutes read, also attached. Keep track of your minutes on this separate sheet and a special surprise will await the child/children with the most logged minutes.
All completed sheets must be returned to the Town Hall by September 10th. If you cannot drop them off in person, they can be mailed c/o Monica Cleveland, Ancram Town Clerk, 1416 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502. (Please be sure to include your address in case I need to mail your certificate and prize.)
All children who participate will receive a certificate of completion from the Town as well as a special prize. Prizes and certificates will be presented at a special program prior to the September 20th Town Board Meeting.
I encourage you to use our libraries this summer. We are lucky to have three libraries within a short ride of Ancram – Hillsdale, Millerton and Pine Plains. Take advantage of both their resources and the programs they will be holding throughout the summer months.
