Please take notice that the Town of Ancram Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 County Route 7 Ancram, New York 12502. Under consideration is the application for a Special Use Permit for Pole Mounted Solar Panels on parcel IDs# 205.3-1-5 owned by Mary Watkins, located at 2385 Route 82, Ancram, NY 12502. All persons wishing to comment on the application will have an opportunity to do so. Comments may be made at the meeting, via email, or by mail. NYS Pistol Permit Recertification
The NY Safe Act requires that pistol permits be recertified every five years. If your permit was issued before January 15, 2013, the deadline to recertify is January 31, 2018. The website to recertify online is:

Due to the weather and driving conditions, the Ancram Town Hall will be closed this afternoon and evening, January 4.
Assessor Ken Leggett will not be at Town Hall for his normal 5-7 pm office hours.
The Ancram Planning Board meeting scheduled for 7 pm tonight has been canceled and will be rescheduled.
Visibility is poor and road s are slippery, with drifts accumulating in places. And its getting worse…
