Assessment Roll and Grievance Information Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law:l. Notice is hereby given that the Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Ancram is completed, and a copy thereof may be seen at the Ancram Town Hall 1416 County Route 7 Ancram NY 12502 by appointment. 2. Notice is hereby given that an Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll of the Town of Ancram by appointment only. Appointments to view the Tentative Assessment Roll can be made by phoning the Assessor at 518-329-6512 ext. 204 or by emailing at ancramassessor@gmail.com.3. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Assessment Review for the Town of Ancram will meet to hear and examine all properly filed complaints in relation to assessments of Real Property via virtual Zoom during the hours of 1:00 to 3:00pm and 6:00pm and 8:00pm on May 26th, 2021. 4. A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office or the Columbia County Real Property Tax Office as well as online at: http://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/publications/orpts/grievancebookley.pdf

Town of Ancram Public Notice – Public Hearing on Local Law #1 of 2021 open for written comments to April 12 – The Ancram Town Board conducted a public hearing on Local Law#1 of 2021, a proposed Local Law amending the Town of Ancram Zoning Law with regard to the Regulation of Solar Energy Generating Systems, on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Background materials on proposed Local Law #1 of 2021 and the Zoom meeting invitation are posted on the Town website at www.ancramny.org. Hard copy of the background materials is also available from the Ancram Town Clerk at the Ancram Town Hall, 1416 County Route 7, Ancram NY, 12502.  The public hearing remains open for written comments to be received via mail or email until 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021.  Mailed comments should be addressed to Ancram Town Board, 1416 County Route 7, Ancram NY 12502. Email comments should be addressed to abassin@townofancram.org
