Bids will be accepted at the office of the Highway Superintendent, 32 Maple Lane, Ancramdale NY 12503 until 3:30 January 5, 2021. Bids will be opened at the Town Clerks office, 1416 Couty Route 7 Ancram NY 12502, at 11am on January 6, 2021. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Ancram Town Hall is closed to the public. If you wish to attend the bid openings, please contact the Highway Superintendent at 518-329-0962 to make an appointment. All safety precautions will need to be adhered to including masks, temperature check and health screening questions. Bids will be approved or rejected at the Ancram Town Board Organization meeting via Zoom on January 7, 2021 at 7pm.
Bids will be effective one year starting January 1, 2021 theought December 31, 2021. All bids must be accompanied with a letter of non collusion.

Request for Insurance Proposals
Date of Public Notice Event: November 13, 2020
Town Of Ancram Public Notice – Request for Insurance Proposals – The Town of Ancram is seeking bids on its municipal insurance policies, including commercial property, commercial liability, public officials liability, commercial excess liability, commercial automobile liability, commercial automobile physical damage and commercial inland marine for the period January 4, 2021 to January 4, 2022. Interested bidders should contact Town Supervisor Art Bassin at abassin@aol.com or by phone at 518-469-7768 to received information on the current policies in place and the town’s loss experience over the past 5 years. Bidders are encouraged to evaluate the current insurance programs and levels of coverage in place and recommend modifications if they believe such modifications would be in the best interest of the Town. Bids are due by 5 pm, Friday, November 13, 2020 and should be submitted by email to abassin@aol.com or by mail to Art Bassin, Ancram Town Hall, 1416 CR 7, Ancram NY 12502. Bids will be reviewed by the Town’s Financial Advisory Committee at its November 14 and December 12 meetings, and a recommendation will be made to the Town Board prior to the December 17 Town Board meeting.

Town of Ancram Public Notice – The Town of Ancram is seeking a Deputy Building Inspector/CEO/ZEO to work Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Ancram Town Board seeking applicants for alternate on Board of Assessment Review (BAR)

The Ancram Town Board is seeking applicants to serve as an alternate on the Town’s 5 member Board of Assessment Review (BAR). An alternate member of the The Board of Assessment Review will attend the annual BAR meeting and will take the place of a regular member if a regular member is not able to participate in the annual BAR meeting held in May to hear real property assessment complaints (grievances) and arrive at fair and impartial determinations regarding those complaints. Newly appointed and reappointed alternate BAR members are required to attend training, offered each spring, prior to the annual BAR meeting.
